Anuenue Walk
Our beautiful crosswalks are in need of some Public Art. Anuenue (rainbows) is a special phenomenon that can bring life to Downtown Lihue.

Design is complete
We have designed for 8 total crosswalks on Rice Street. Starting from Bank of Hawaii to Kalena Park. We have partnered with Mo’olelo Murals and each crosswalk is designed as a rainbow with one of the colors named in Hawaiian.
Next step
We are in the process of getting this approved by our county and state officials for us to get it painted. The requirements can take months as these are busy streets that are being used daily.
Funding
We have funded the majority of this project and is on the last funding piece. Funding our muralists to paint these amazing anuenue. Help us complete this project by donating online.
